While preparations were soaring for their wedding, the clients approached Auburn to handle an equally important aspect of their immediate future – their first home together.
The clients wished their first home to reflect both their personalities; a coming together of classical, victorian aesthetics and contemporary, modern designs. In addition, they wanted to utilise the existing structures in the apartment as is, making only minimal changes where required. Another specific brief was to use a pastel colour palette for the home.

The Design Intent:
Addressing the brief head-on, we worked on blending Victorian and contemporary styles. We added wall paneling detail and molding to the walls to bring about the classical aesthetic while the furniture and decor fused in the modern style.
